Love Your Patio Again.

I just had customer-made sun shades installed on my front screened porch, which faces southwest and gets very hot on Texas summer days! My porch also faces what has become a very busy South Austin street with both lots of cars (it’s a “short cut” street) as well as foot traffic, and I’ve long wanted some privacy. I am SO HAPPY with my new sun shades! Everything about my experience of first contacting Shading Texas for a free consultation and quote for this job to getting the shades installed today has been EXCELLENT. The high quality of the shades and the entire setup is so impressive — they will add value to my home, as well as block a HUGE amount of UV rays, sun, and the resulting heat from both my front porch and into my front windows. The amount of privacy they offer is amazing — o can see out but passersby can’t see in, which will be great on my sweatpants, T-shirt, and bad hair days :) Justin and Trey did a fantastic job on the install, checking in with me several times to make sure everything is the way I wanted it. They were so polite and professional, and Justin stayed after the install was done to help me set up the app used to control the sun shades from my home, make sure it was connected to my Wi-Fi, etc. I will definitely return to Shading Texas when I’m ready to order the same system for my back screened porch! Earlier I gave a bad review....which later I realized was due to miscommunication on my part....and want to make known that this company really "cares"....and their customer service is top notch. We have screens on both front and back patios....did have a tear....was not due to any problem due to Shading Texas. My husband and myself have told many of our friends about Shading Texas....whom also have purchased there product. All, including us, would not think of going any other place. Love um!

5 stars all around. We recently had Shading Texas install a motorized shade on our backyard patio and my wife and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Our biggest issue was the Texas afternoon sun beating directly into our covered patio and making it hard to enjoy the space later in the day. The new shade has made a huge difference. It blocks out the sun really well while still letting us see out into the backyard, which is exactly what we wanted. The whole process was easy from start to finish and the installation came out great. Everything looks clean, the motorized shade works perfectly, and they even set us up with a Bond Bridge Pro so we can control it from our phones. We’ve already been using the patio a lot more in the afternoons since having it installed. Really happy with the final product and would definitely recommend Shading Texas to anyone looking to add a shade to their patio.

A retractable awning is the best thing you never knew you needed and Shading Texas will get you all set up! Kim and Justin and everyone I interacted with were professional and personable and helped me pick out what worked best for my house. The awning is gorgeous both day and night!
